We just came across depositphoto‘s new feature that allows you to upload any image and have the background removed online almost immediately. At this point in time there seems to be no cost involved in using depositphotos’ background removal feature and you can download the resultant picture with the background removed almost immediately thereafter.

We just came across depositphoto‘s new feature that allows you to upload any image and have the background removed online almost immediately.
Depositphoto’s Background Removal Feature

You visit the URL for the background removal option on depositphotos and then you can either click the Upload Image button or you can drag and drop your image into a box area. You can upload JPEG or PNG images. The limitation is that the picture that you upload should not exceed 15 megabytes in size.

As you can see, the results are almost instant. Some photos perform better than others at this background removal.

Once the background removal is done, you can download the photos to use in your PowerPoint slides or anywhere else.

What’s great about this feature is that it is free. Plus, you can use any picture. It does not have to be from depositphotos.

Hope you liked this feature where we explore a cool feature that can help you create better presentations. Do comment and like this post and subscribe to our channel. Have a safe and rewarding day.

In the last part of this Presentation Management series of posts, we explored some aspects of a presentation’s life cycle: social engagement, reporting, and updating. In this part, we look at why telling better stories helps make better presentations.

We like the phrase, “Content is king!” Without some quality content, any presentation management implementation is a bit of a waste.

When we started working with clients back in the ’90s, every new job was a consulting project that including writing and designing presentations. Those presentation services were initially our primary source of income. We’ve worked with clients in every industry to help them write their stories and create libraries of slides that can be used and repurposed.

In this post, we will share what we’ve learned over the years about how to create exceptional presentations, including what we’ve learned from experts about how presentations affect the brains of those on the receiving end.

In previous tutorials, we looked at getting started with the Synology DS920+. We also explored how you can start and shut down your Synology NAS. However, to make those posts concise, we never looked at setting up a new Synology NAS. We remedy that situation in this post on setting up the Synology DS920+ NAS.

You first access your Synology NAS device by visiting the Synology Find site in your web browser. If all goes well, and if you have connected your cables properly, you should see the Find Your Synology NAS screen in your browser, as shown below.

Typically, NAS devices such as the ones from Synology are meant to be running all the time, but there may be times you want to shut them down. You may want to add a new HDD or add RAM, or you may just want to shut it down. In this post, I’ll look at how you can power up and shut down Synology’s DS920+ NAS device. However, this process works in almost the same way for all Synology devices.

Synology’s DS920+ NAS Device

Do you have hundreds of thousands of PowerPoint presentations, work files, or any other files that you need to be safely stored and accessed? Then you should look at a complete NAS device such as the Synology DS920+ NAS I reviewed a while ago.

Power Up the Synology NAS

To power up your Synology, you can press the Power button in the front, as shown in both the pictures below. The picture on the left shows a latent button and the picture on the right shows the button after the Synology NAS is powered on.
